Naomi Heinz

MS, OTR/L

I was born and raised just outside of Chicago, and in 2015, I received my Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Rush University. As an occupational therapist specialized in pediatric practice, I strongly believe in the transformative power of play. I center my practice around recognizing and respecting the unique qualities of each child and their shared desire to play, learn, and grow. Through collaboration with families, caregivers, therapeutic and school teams, I am committed to creating inclusive environments that support each child’s strengths, laying strong foundations for lifelong success and empowerment.

Beyond my professional endeavors, my love for play and wonder extends to my personal life. I thrive when exploring nature, adventuring to new destinations, sharing laughter with friends, playing games with family, and constantly learning from others. These experiences not only bring me joy but also contribute to my holistic understanding of the vital role play has in our lives, from childhood and beyond.
