Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

What Your Day Looks Like:
- Provide speech therapy services to children with special needs in school and clinic settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing disorders
- Develop and adjust treatment plans aligned with IEPs and individualized goals
- Participate in IEP meetings with administrative support
- Collaborate with families, schools, and team
- Manageable workload-driven caseload
- Drive time generally 15–30 minutes between locations
- Document progress using provided systems and tools (documentation time included during the workday)
SLPs with additional certifications or specialized experience (e.g., AAC, fluency, or language disorders) may have opportunities to focus in those areas based on placement needs. Exact schedules vary by placement, but expectations are discussed clearly before assignments are finalized.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California Occupational Therapy License
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation for in-person roles (not required for remote services)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (or clinical fellowship eligibility, if applicable)

Schedule and Work Structure
This role offers flexibility across school-based and clinic settings. As with most pediatric roles, schedules may vary due to:
- Student absences
- Family cancellations
- School calendars and breaks
To support clinicians, Growing Healthy Seasons:
- Actively monitors and manages team caseloads
- Assists with scheduling coordination when possible
- Communicates anticipated changes proactively
- Operates as a collaborative team focused on sustainability
- Provides advanced documentation tools
