NOW REGISTERING: Friendsgiving Friendship Camp (Nov 24-26, 2025)
Fun, Engaging Camps
Our camps are affirming, sensory informed programs for children and teens. Campers will learn about each other, explore their interests together, play in interactive movement games, build and craft together, and have fun!
Your child will be appreciated and celebrated for their unique gifts! Small groups are run by our team of experienced therapists and education technicians. All children will be welcomed and supported so that they feel comfortable and successful. These camps are especially powerful for kids who have difficulty connecting in larger groups or who are supported when they can maintain daily rhythms, routines, and peer interactions during school breaks.
Strength-based and Sensory Informed Program:
- Build social connections, learn about friendship
- Engage in interactive movement games
- Create and craft together
- Practice sharing and taking turns
- Have fun in a supportive and affirming environment
- Led by licensed therapists and trained staff
- Small group size for individualized attention

Developing Relationship Online Group Program
These small, age-based groups are led by an experienced, affirming, and sensory-informed Speech Therapist. Connection will be facilitated through sharing interests, learning about each other, and playing interactive games. Everyone will be appreciated and celebrated for their unique gifts and supported to feel comfortable and successful. These small friendship groups are especially powerful for those who have difficulty connecting in large groups and who would benefit from opportunities to practice context-specific life skills such as conversation, perspective taking, conflict resolution, and making friends.

Food Science Group for Teens Program
A fun and affirming environment for teens to explore food, expand comfort zones, and build confidence. This small group experience is intended for “picky eaters” who are interested in learning about and exploring food without being pressured to eat it. Each day will include food based activities along with games and exercises to foster regulation and connection. An occupational therapist skilled in sensory processing and feeding therapy will lead this 2 week intensive.

School-Based Therapy Program
School-based therapy differs from clinic-based therapy, focusing on supporting students and their Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team to enhance skill transfer to classroom and home environments. By law, services are offered in the least restrictive environment, often within the classroom. We thrive on collaborating with parents and teachers, offering strategies for essential skills such as handwriting, adapted physical education, self-care, attention, and self-regulation.
With our distance technology, we support families and schools in other parts of the state as well. Additionally, our team members may be able to travel to help you, so please call with any questions. Getting started in our School-Based Therapy program is fast and easy because we are a Non-Public Agency (NPA).

S.O.S. Feeding Solutions Program
The SOS Feeding therapy, honed over 20 years by Dr. Kay Toomey and a multidisciplinary team including Pediatricians, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, and Speech Therapists, offers a holistic approach to feeding and growth challenges. This program incorporates various factors—motor, oral, behavioral, medical, sensory, and nutritional—mirroring the natural progression of feeding skills in developing children, ensuring a comprehensive pathway to nurturing healthy eating habits.

Family Garden Program
Gardening is more than just a hobby – it’s a journey of growth, connection, and well-being. Just as we nurture the unique potential of every individual we serve, gardening allows us to cultivate our own physical, mental, and emotional health. When we dig our hands into the soil, we’re not just planting seeds; we’re sowing the seeds of self-care, resilience, and personal growth.
As we tend to our gardens, we strengthen our bodies through the gentle movements of planting, weeding, and harvesting. We develop a sense of responsibility and patience as we nurture our plants, watching them grow and thrive under our care.
Each month, we host a Garden Party for all families at our Rescue Clinic. This event is on the 3rd Saturday of every month and free to participate.

Early Childhood Therapy Program
For little ones aged 0 to 3, our therapy nurtures motor skills, engagement, communication, sensory harmony, and meaningful play. Together with you and your child, we cultivate a foundation of trust and understanding through playful interaction and language development. Blending sensory strategies with positive behavior support, we foster growth in a nurturing atmosphere. We also introduce American Sign Language to enhance communication, emphasizing consistency and routine to support positive behaviors.

Reading Intervention Program
The Growing Healthy Seasons Reading Intervention program comprises both the content and teaching principles of a Structured Literacy program which the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) states is necessary for effective reading instruction. This program is led by a Barton-Certified instructor.
Our program is:
- Evidence-based
- Explicit

Stay and Play Program
Stay and Play is a week-long fully immersive therapy program that is supportive, interactive, and fun!
Stay and Play Therapy using the STAR Treatment Model:
Children with SPD (Sensory Processing Differences) have been shown to benefit from intensive therapy using a sensory integration approach. GHS models our Stay and Play Therapy Program after the STAR Institute. Practicing what is known as “the Burst Model,” families come and stay nearby while receiving therapy services up to 5 times per week for 4-6 weeks at our state-of-the-art headquarters in Rescue, CA.
Our team members are certified as an Advanced Mentored Clinicians by the STAR Institute. The STAR Institute was founded by Dr. Lucy Jane Miller, the leading researcher in sensory processing. Our director, Robyn Chu, is on the STAR Institute Faculty.
We are one of the few clinics in the country to offer this type of service. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to support motor coordination, language development, feeding challenges, social connection, and independence with daily living skills. We provide comprehensive support from start to finish, including on-line support once your child graduates from support in the clinic.
I just want you to know how INCREDIBLE our Occupational Therapist has been to work with. Our child does not warm up to people easily, but he has been able to connect with her better than any other provider we have ever had! He loves his sessions with his OT and she has helped him make tremendous progress.
Our son has recently started first grade. With your help, in the space of one school year our son has gone from needing a full time Para-Educator in the classroom to being completely independent with no need for inclusive support. Our son could not have accomplished and overcome half of what he has without your dedication and support. What a blessing this has been to our son and our family.
You truly made a positive difference in my child’s life and that means you made a positive difference in my life too.
A journey of growth and discovery begins with the planting of a single seed.
Each step in this journey nurtures the seed into a flourishing life, unfolding the endless possibilities that lie within. At Growing Healthy Seasons, we’re committed to nurturing every seed, guiding its path towards blossoming into its full potential.
