OTR/LMS Occupational Therapy
Registered and Licensed, CA, WA
BA Elementary Education

I graduated from Mount Mary University in 2017 with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree, with advanced courses in pediatric therapy. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2002 with a specialty in Kindergarten-8th grade literacy. My career has been dedicated to working with students, adults and their families throughout the lifespan in settings for early childhood, public and nonprofit schools, adult hospital rehabilitation and home health settings, and in pediatric teletherapy.

The most rewarding part of my work as an occupational therapist is the connection and care that becomes the context for the therapeutic relationship, growth and skill development with my clients. I highly value building relationships within a care team and the collaborative process of working with families and students in goal setting, treatment planning and approaches that are individualized and meaningful to them, and finding points of connection within areas of interest and need. My continuing education has followed my passion for supporting my neurodivergent students and families, educating and advocating for affirming approaches and trauma informed care. When I am not working, I enjoy time with my family, reading with a good cup of coffee or hot tea, painting, and long walks on a nature trail.
