COTA/L

I went to school in Texas and graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program from Coleman College in Houston in 2018. I also earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. I was introduced to occupational therapy in high school and knew this was the path for me.

I started off my professional career in an out-patient pediatric clinic and worked at a rehabilitation hospital as well. When I moved to California, I knew I wanted to go back to pediatrics. I love working as an occupational therapy practitioner because we look at a person as whole, and focus on their strengths and interests. Another important piece is empowering the caregiving team and working together to best support and help the child grow. Over the years, I have collaborated with school teams in elementary, middle school, high school, and non-public school settings, working on building meaningful connections to help students learn and grow. This is one of the big reasons I love working in schools. I also love the continuous opportunities to learn, grow and gain knowledge to best support my clients and team members.

I truly believe every child has a strength and it takes the right person to help them find it. I love that working with children truly means the sky is the limit.
