Madelyn Couture

SLPA

I grew up with both of my parents working in education. My mother worked as a second-grade teacher and reading teacher. My father worked as an Adapted PE teacher. It only seemed fitting to merge them and follow in their footsteps. This, along with my six-year-old son, has allowed me to work in child development throughout my life.

I graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and received my license through Loma Linda University. My journey has allowed me to watch children and adults learn and grow together. I love working as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant because seeing a child’s face during their ah-ha moments creates a wave of accomplishment and excitement for everyone involved. I have enjoyed every moment of my career and look forward to learning more about how to help each child love life and live it fully!
