Elena Austin

M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in California and Texas
Certificate of Clinical Competence, ASHA

I’ve been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 2007 when I received my Masters from University of North Texas. I’ve worked with both adults and pediatrics, but mostly in pediatrics! I work hard to be holistic in my practice and love having family involvement. I have a special love for Pragmatic language intervention and Alternative and Augmentative Communication. I’ve spent a lot of time taking CEUs in both of those areas and love finding new interventions!

I have an amazing husband, two kids of my own (middle school and elementary), two dogs, and a bearded dragon. I love LEGOS and video games. You’ll see my favorite sets in my office. We love to spend time outside, but since we live in Texas we have limited options for that – it’s just too hot! That means we spend a lot of time in water – pools, Aquatica, and fishing!
