WEEK 4 (TUE, WED, THU): 7/15, 7/16, 7/17

Learn about social connection with peers in a fun, flexible, interest-based and strengths-based, format.

These small, age-based groups are led by an experienced, affirming, and sensory-informed Speech Therapist. Connection will be facilitated through sharing interests, learning about each other, and playing interactive games. Everyone will be appreciated and celebrated for their unique gifts and supported to feel comfortable and successful.

• Strengths first. We start with what each child loves and does well, building confidence that fuels new skills.
• Interactive and engaging. Games, storytelling, and collaborative challenges turn practice into play while nurturing flexible thinking and perspective taking.
• Real-life readiness. Participants explore friendship essentials such as conversation flow, conflict navigation, and shared decision making within a supportive, judgment-free setting.
• Celebrating neurodiversity. Every child’s unique ways of communicating and connecting are honored, creating a community where differences are seen as gifts.

These small friendship groups are especially powerful for those who have difficulty connecting in large groups and who would benefit from opportunities to practice context-specific life skills such as conversation, perspective taking, conflict resolution, and making friends.

AGES 7-10: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
AGES 11-14: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
AGES 15-18: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
